Associate Pastor
Ruben Galarza
Ruben Galarza serves as Associate Pastor at CrossPointe Church in Fontana, bringing a deep love for God, people, and ministry. Born and raised in Southern California, Ruben committed his life to Christ at the age of nine when he asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior.
In his early twenties, Ruben faithfully served his community as a firefighter with the County of San Bernardino. Not long after, he felt a clear calling from the Lord into full-time ministry. He pursued that calling by earning his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from California Baptist University in 2001, followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Theology from Gateway Seminary in 2004.
Throughout his ministry journey, Ruben has helped plant churches in Southern California and served various organizations leading worship. In September 2024, Ruben and his family relocated to Florida and gratefully returned to the CrossPointe Church family in March 2026.
Ruben is passionate about leading others in worship, sharing God’s Word, and discipling believers in their walk with Christ. Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family at Disneyland, collecting vinyl records, spending time outdoors, and playing sports.
Ruben is married to his lovely wife, Stephanie, and together they have three beautiful daughters—Samantha, Isabelle, and Abigail. They also recently welcomed their son Derek into the family, who is married to Samantha.
