Our History
CrossPointe Church came into existence on August 2, 2009. The church was born from two churches merging together: First Baptist Church of Fontana and NorthWinds Church. First Baptist Church began in 1945 while NorthWinds was one of its missions that was started in 2002. The Lord led the pastors and leaders of each church to do the unexpected and improbable “Merge.” Different cultures, worship styles, and philosophies of ministry came together to form CrossPointe Church. We have two full-time pastors at CrossPointe: Brian Simms is the Senior Pastor and Ruben Galarza is the Associate Pastor.
